A heartfelt visual journey exploring memory, migration, and identity. Through portraiture and short film, this exhibition offers a glimpse into deeply human stories of struggle, triumph and hop Following the 4 participants closely for 5 weeks, I witnessed their daily lives. Everyday carried uncertainty in pursuit of finding a way to earn an income. There were moments of joy, sadness and fear, everyday was an emotional rollercoaster. The project became an emotional journey for me as a painter, after we built a certain level of trust they cautiously allowed me to share their story. The experience from this project I will never forget.
